Saving money and still having a fabulous home

Calling all thrifty housewives!
I don't know about you, but we are watching the pennies in our house right now, however, rather than this hamper my dreams of running my house lke clockwork, (whilst juggling 2 jobs!) it has made more determined to search out cheaper ways of doing things, quick fixes and of course, bargain hunting!!
I would love to hear ideas off all you ladies out there that are changing the way they run their homes, on a budget, with a view to creating an online resource aimed at us thrifty ladies!
